  • 2005 -onwards:  lives and works in  Aux Places de Prissac (Indre)
  • Member of the International Academy of Ceramics since 2005.

 The relation that her work has with ceramic art is not at all part of the conventional considerations of current discussion, for her type of production it is better to approach from a different angle.     Because for Brigitte neither technical perfection, nor originality nor the rational pursuit of form are a goal.
What counts is freedom.  Because there is a great freedom in this method of working with ceramics.  Not perfectionism, but without doubt an extra-ordinary mastery, a knowledge of clay, wheel and fire which allows her to take enormous aesthetic risks.  Her pieces have a strength and a personality completely her own : in her work everything is simple and direct.   And furthermore unique
