As a prelude to the show that will bring them together later this year at the Maison des Arts in Chatillon (92), we present recent works by two artists who each draw from a common inspiration of Japanese Folding paper a very distinct but equally bold formal expression and style, for which they are renowned.

This young London artist (born 1984), already quite present at the vanguard of the British contemporary art scene, is being shown in France for the first time. Her colourful sculptures have caught the attention of numerous professionals and earned her multiple awards.

The idea of movement is a permanent feature in the work of Danish ceramic artist Mette Maya Gregersen (born 1973). Her sculptural ceramics give off the same energy and rhythms as the fleeting waves she captures with a mastery that earned her international recognition.
