ERNA AALTONEN JOINED THE COLLECTION OF “LA PISCINE” MUSEUM IN ROUBAIX
The “Submarine” Sphere of the ceramic artist Erna Aaltonen, acquired from the Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste, is now entering the contemporary ceramics collection of La Piscine-Musée d’Art et d’Industrie André Diligent, in Roubaix. The work will be presented for public viewing upon the reopening of the museum October 20, 2018.
Erna Aaltonen was awarded the Prize of Design from the Finnish State in 2014 and her works are featured in the collections of many museums around the world.
The Finnish ceramicist has been a permanent artist of the Galerie since 2015. The current exhibition entitled “Beyond Spheres” is being held until November 8, 2018 at the Galerie de l’Ancienne Poste.
